We are wanting our much loved small campervan, named Gordon, to go to a good home. Gordon is a 2-berth Cavarno, built on a Ford short wheelbase. The length of this van is X, width X and height X. This size means it has a similar footprint as a large car and can therefore be parked roadside and in most car parks, those that don't have a height restriction. This makes the van ideally suited for travel through country lanes and it can readily be parked in small places for picnic stops.
Gordon runs on diesel. He was registered in X and has had X owners from new. In X we purchased him from Somerset Motorhomes and have some past service history as well as having knowledge of more recent. Within our period of ownership he's has X and X X and X carried out. He has just been on holiday with us for a week in Devon, where we checked that all his vital parts are in working order prior to offering him for sale. Gordon is being sold with X mileage on the clock and his last MOT was X.
Gordon has been cared for and kept clean internally by ourselves and previous owners. Externally he's has had a few paint touch-ups as he's been kept outside and weathered. To the best of our knowledge he hasn't been involved in any accidents. His paintwork appears ok at first glance, but as I say, there's evidence of fading. If his new owner decides to re-spray further then, to be helpful, the colour match is X.
The cockpit of the van has two belted swivel seats, which turn to form two single beds, divided by a gap to allow for rear toilet access...or a double bed can be formed if preferred. In addition to the two front seats there are also two belted passenger seats behind. These passenger seats can also be arranged to form a side sofa. There are two tables on board, which fit securely into floor supports when in use. In all this forms a comfortable lounge area, or bedroom in the centre area of the van.
Behind the driver side of the lounge area is a kitchen. Gordon has a full size gas cooker with oven, grill and four burner hob. There is also a sink that provides hot and cold water, through a pump system. Finally the van has a dual-fuel Dometic fridge with a small ice-making compartment. All appliances are being sold in good working order. We are also providing an electric kettle and toaster...plus some cutlery, plates, cups, bowls, saucepans and a frying pan etc.
On the other side of the rear area is a Thetford cassette toilet. This is not positioned inside a tiny cubicle has instead a privacy door is positioned across the van behind the lounge area. This provides a decent size space for toilet access and clothes changes. The closed toilet itself provides a useful seat when dressing and there is also a readily-fitted shelf above, which acts as additional worktop space for vanity use.
Beside the toilet is a wardrobe/storage cupboard...beneath which is a cupboard storing the refillable gas supply bottle. There are well-fitted cupboards within the van, plus storage spaces beneath rear seats,
There is a control panel on the back wall (directions offered).
Ventilation. Lighting and Heating: The van has three opening vents. There is switched electric lighting fitted to the internal roof. Gorden has two opening, lockable, side windows. All windows can be covered by curtains at night, or for shade in the day. Externally there is a Fammia titanium wind-out awning fitted to provide shade when seated outside. In cold weather the van has heating vents, provided by X
